Administrative/Security Features

Security Officer Communications Facility: Allows the DMVGATEWAY system administrator to communicate with the Court or Agency Security Officer without any traffic going over the public Internet.

Large History Log Facility: Permits the DMVGATEWAY Transaction History Log to exceed 200,000 records for a single DMVGATEWAY Cluster.

Password Management Facility: Allows the DMVGATEWAY system administrator to specify the lifetime of a DMVGATEWAY password before it must be changed.

Court Name Protection Facility: Supports protecting Court chosen names by logging lookups of these names or licenses belonging to these names to a special security file. DMVGATEWAY users are by default covered by this protection, as are any other names configured by the Court. DMVGATEWAY users are told if their lookup matches a protected name, and if they view the data the special security log entry is made. At the Court or Agency Option, lookups of protected names can be sent as email alerts to the Court/Agency security officer.
